They are suitable for transferring clean liquids containing impurities no larger than 0.03 mm. The hydraulic components: brass impeller, cast iron scroll and pump body, allow them to be used with emulsions and oily substances, glycols and liquids in general, as long as they are non-oxidising for the materials of construction. Viscosity must not exceed 21 cSt (3° Engel). The temperature of the liquid must not exceed 90°C.

They are commonly used on

• drilling centres
• cooling units

They are normally installed on a tank with a capacity commensurate with the flow rate, approximately 3-4 cm from the bottom. It is important to check that the maximum liquid level in the tank always remains 3-4 cm lower than the support flange (see figure).
