They are suitable for the transfer of clean liquids containing impurities not exceeding 0.03 mm. The hydraulic components: brass impeller, cast iron bottom plate and aluminium pump body, allow them to be used with emulsions, oily substances and liquids in general as long as they are non-oxidising for the materials of construction. Viscosity must not exceed 21 cSt (3° Engel).

They must be installed on top of the tank and must be primed before use. In cases where the pump sucks in air due to a lack of liquid, the priming operation must be repeated. To ensure a proper pump life, the pump must not run dry, as the mechanical seal is not lubricated. The installation of a suction filter is recommended wherever possible.
