Standard equipment
SYSTEM STIHL M-TRONIC
WORK RELIABLY WITH THE BEST PERFORMANCE. Thanks to the STIHL M-Tronic, you can get the best performance from your implement right from the start. The fully electronic engine management adjusts ignition timing and fuel metering at all operating conditions, taking into account external factors including temperature, altitude and fuel quality.
ENGINE STIHL 2-MIX
PARTICULARLY ENERGY-EFFICIENT. Thanks to the motor STIHL 2-Mix can reduce not only exhaust pollution, but also fuel consumption and the resulting running costs. This 2-stroke engine requires little maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high performance. The fuel consists of a mixture of petrol and engine oil. The engine STIHL 2-Mix complies with the strict European emission directive Stage V.
AIR FILTER WITH LONG-LIFE PREFILTER FOR M
LONGER FILTER LIFE. Pre-filtering removes coarse and larger particles from the air stream before they can reach the actual filter. The HD2 filter also keeps fine dust away from the engine, thus ensuring a long service life of the engine, longer cleaning intervals and easy maintenance of the chainsaw. Only if the chain saw is equipped with a HD2 prefilter and filter can one speak of a long-lasting air filter system. In fact, this system allows a significantly longer filter life than conventional air filter systems.
COMBINED LEVER WITH STOP FUNCTION
EASY TO OPERATE. Only one starting position is required on the combined lever. After switching off, the control lever automatically returns to the operating position thanks to the stop function. If the engine is still warm, it can be restarted directly.
MANUAL DECOMPRESSION
EFFORTLESS STARTING. The decompression valve facilitates starting the device. During starting, part of the compressed mixture can be released from the cylinder by opening the valve. This protects the starting system and reduces the use of force on the starter rope.

OIL AND FUEL TANK CAP RIC

ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM STIHL
MORE PLEASANT WORKING ENVIRONMENT. The power output of the implement generates vibrations that are felt especially in the grip area. The shock absorbers and compensating elements of the anti-vibration system STIHL reduce the transmission of vibrations from the motor to the handle and thus to the user's body. As a result, the device can be held more comfortably and allows less fatigue during work.
COMPENSATOR
REDUCED MAINTENANCE. By means of pressure compensation, a regulating system within the carburettor known as the compensator, it is ensured that despite increased soiling of the air filter, engine power, exhaust quality and fuel consumption remain more or less constant over a long period of time. Therefore it will only be necessary to clean the air filter when a noticeable decrease in performance is noticed. In this way it is possible to work for a long time without maintenance.
Anti-loss nuts
When assembling the chain sprocket cover, the nuts are constantly in the correct position, with no possibility of tilting - only a few manoeuvres are required. Each nut can be tightened independently of the others.
LATERAL CHAIN TENSION
SIMPLE AND SAFE TENSIONING. The side chain tensioner allows simple, fast and safe chain tensioning and replacement. The tensioning screw is operated from the side through the sprocket cover.
SYSTEM STIHL EMATIC
REDUCED OIL CONSUMPTION. The system STIHL Ematic consists of guide bar STIHL Ematic or Ematic S, from the chain STIHL Oilomatic and an oil pump with adjustable flow rate. It ensures that the chain oil reaches where it is needed for lubrication. In this way, oil consumption can be reduced by up to 50 per cent. If you often work in dusty environments or use longer guide bars, you can easily and quickly increase the oil quantity at any time with the new oil pump system.
